Building Systems
We have a building system, log profile and species that's perfect for your log home project. We offer expert advice on selecting the right system, and design for your dream home.
Our solid timber homes are available in two distinct styles. Our Classic Series is comprised of our "D" log profile, round/round, 4" and 8" WeatherBloc®, milled to resemble traditional clapboard; and our 7" x 12" dovetail profile.
Our Western Series is comprised of our Swedish cope profile available from 8" to 14" in diameter. Other log styles and finishes are also available.
We even make construction simple and weather-tight with our revolutionary double tongue and groove Stack-N-Build® system. Our Swedish Cope logs use a classic wide arc matching system. We offer a full range of corner styles such as Notch-and-Pass, Dovetail and Saddle Notch. Our packages are available in a variety of wood species including: Eastern White Pine, Western Red Cedar, Douglas Fir, Spruce and Lodgepole Pine.
If you want to enjoy the beauty of a log home and the unlimited finish options of a conventionally framed home, then our Thermo-Home® is for you. This unique panelized building system offers you choices from top to bottom, combined with our super insulated wall systems.
Essentially, this building system attaches a log façade on the outside of a fully insulated traditional frame structure. The result is a home that looks and feels like a real solid timber home, but has more insulation than comparable framed homes. The best part is that you can build the exterior of a Thermo-Home® to virtually any of our standard solid log profiles.
The Thermo-Home® design combines time and money saving techniques that make it easy and efficient to build. The pre-engineered R-28 insulated solid wall panels keep you warm in the winter and cool in the summer.
Best of all, this building system is delivered partially constructed. This means that building is fast and easy. We offer a full range of corner styles such as Notch-and-Pass and Saddle Notch. Our packages are available in a variety of wood species including: Eastern White Pine, Western Red Cedar, Douglas Fir, and Lodgepole Pine.
